The new ILCA 4 MK2 sail is due to become class legal in early August 2026, in time for the ILCA 4 World Championship, subject to final confirmation. The current ILCA 4 MkI sail will remain fully class legal.
ILCA 4 MK2 Sail which comes supplied with a short sail bag.
Please note, the sail does not include any battens, the new MK2 sail battens are also different to the battens used on the MK1 sail so we recommend to purchase a MK2 batten set for the new MK2 sail.
The Laser® 4.7 Sail is 4.70m2 and made from a Dacron material with a recommended weight of 35 - 55 kg.
